Biography

Melody Rogers was born in Louisville Kentucky and like a beautiful thoroughbred racehorse, she has captivated fans throughout her career.  Melody began dancing professionally at age 15.  In just three years she had done 21 musicals. 

After coming to Los Angeles to do the role of Shelia in A Chorus Line at the Shubert Theatre, she became the host of CBS's acclaimed magazine show Two on the Town.  Melody hosted the show for eight years traveling to 60 countries and interviewing everyone from KoKo the gorilla to John Williams the composer.  She won four Emmy's for her work along with nine Emmy nominations.  

Melody is no stranger to television having played the role of Zach's mom on the very popular NBC series Saved by the Bell.  She was also a recurring character as the wicked tabloid journalist, Elise Flynn on ABC's All My Children.   Guest star credits for Melody include: JAG, The Ben Ben Show, Amen, Night Court, and J J Starbuck among many others.   On the ABC Network, Melody was cast with Shirley Jones as a series regular for Charlie.  Other Television credits include: Who Gets the Friends, with Jill Clay burgh and A Change of Heart featuring Betty White.

Recently, Melody completed a series pilot for Fox Television titled “The Pit”, a takeoff on the popular motion picture Any Given Sunday.

Coming this spring, the feature film YJMJ. Where Melody plays the mother of a troubled teenager.

Other television hosting credits include; The Home Show on ABC and CNBC's Talk-Live.

Melody's has also done her share of radio. As Travel Correspondent at KABC and KFWB, Melody has traveled to Ireland, Tahiti, Israel, Australia, Canada, Hawaii, New Zealand, Germany and England bringing the world a little closer to the Southern California listener.

Today, Melody's passions are her husband, horses, gardens and homes. Melody has recently been certified by NARHA (North American Riding For The Handicapped Association) as a therapeutic riding instructor. Between her husband, the English Garden, riding, teaching children with special needs on horseback, her horse Christopher, her Golden Retriever Bess, and her Heinz 57 dog Tuesday, Melody still makes time for finding people their dream home and helping people sell their home for the most amount of money in the least amount of time possible. Melody and her husband Patrick have created a multi-million dollar Real Estate business in the Los Angeles area from downtown to the ocean and from Westlake to Pasadena.
